Fund Raising

The second fundraising letter will be mailed the week of August 18.  It was suggested that a notice be included alerting the watershed residents of the problem weed hydrilla that has recently been appearing in many CT lakes.

Grants

Currently we have two project goals, the tarp and purchasing native plants for the dam.  We received one grant for the partial amount needed for the plants.  We have a couple of pending grants.

Lake Management

Treatments are scheduled every two weeks on Tuesdays, weather permitting.  Signs are posted, as well as emails sent advising of treatments.  It was suggested that a sign be posted at the top of Pond Road.
